PainChek Android Release Note - Update 4.27

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using the PainChek Android App.

What's happening?

The PainChek Android App release version 4.27 will be updated with a Limited Release from Monday 22nd of May 2023.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

  • Improved the resident list and dashboard query for optimisation.

  • Fixed an issue where if PainChek was launched while the device was offline, the Continue button wouldn’t work. It now prompts the user to connect to the internet.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Added support for more languages.

  • Added broader range of gender identities.

  • When an inactive Next button is pressed, the user is now notified of what’s required for the button to become active.

  • PainChek can now transition between Regular sign in and Signle Sign On without needing to be reinstalled.

  • The App now reports when PainChek is being used on a device that isn’t locked with a PIN.

  • Updated the search function in the Residents list.

  • Updated the Site Selection form.

  • Updated the Support > About box.

  • Updated the existing unfinished assessment notification.

  • Updated the country selection form.

  • Update the Quick Sign In PIN setup form.

  • Disabled the Save button when there’s no archive reason selected.

  • Added support for deep links.

  • Added facial animations to the domain tooltip.

Backend and Maintenance Updates

  • Improved data encryption and mobile security.

  • Improved the sending and receiving of assessments.

What do I have to do?

If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically.

You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek":

Otherwise, access the Google Play store, search for PainChek and select "Update" if available.
