PainChek Back-End 2.66.0 and Front-End 3.35.0 Release Notes Update - Thursday 30th of January 2025

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Portal website.

What's happening?

The PainChek Portal version Backend 2.66 & Frontend 3.35 will be released on Thursday 30th of January 2025.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

  • SSO Login issue: Added a check to ensure that the Metadata URL is validated to be HTTPS.

  • Voice recordings storage: Addressed an issue where voice recordings were not being linked to the assessment.

  • Quick Sign In: Fixed an issue that would cause active tokens to expire unexpectedly.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Global Integration Role: Defaulted to using the Global Integration Role for new integrations.

  • Warning for duplicate external IDs: Added a warning to the Portal Site create/update process when duplicate external IDs are detected.

  • Assessment Type standardization: Standardized terminology for "Assessment Type" when referring to PainChek and NRS assessments.

  • Body Location for assessments: Updated endpoints to support setting the body location for PainChek mode assessments.

  • Portal improvements:

    • Added the ability to show Body Location in the Portal.

    • The Facility View now includes the Tool Type as part of the Pain Score.

    • The Assessment View now includes Timing and Modes.

Backend and Maintenance Updates

  • Database and stored procedure updates: Updated stored procedures to use the new request log header field where possible.

  • UI improvements:

    • Resolved the issue where the consent form could not be accepted on small screens.

    • Fixed the patient's birth date dropdown, which now properly scrolls to selected dates.

What do I have to do?

There's no action required. The update will occur on the server so when you log in after the update is applied, you will already be using the latest version.

In the unlikely event that the PainChek Portal gives an error after the upgrade, please clear the cache from your web browser. Please speak with your internal IT team if your web browser needs the cache cleared.
