What's happening?
The PainChek iOS application release version 2.34 will be available for download from the Apple App Store on Thursday the 9th of October 2025.
What's changed?
Bug Fixes and Performance Improvement
Fixed an issue where Ward filtering was not working as expected when the Facility has a single Ward.
New Features and Enhancements
Improved NRS Assessments: Added a helpful prompt that highlights any mandatory fields that haven’t been completed before saving.
Customisation Options:
Organisations can now request to remove the Manual Assessment option.
It’s now possible to remove the Numerical Score from PainChek assessment types if desired.
Consent Form Flexibility: Added an option for users to decline PainChek consent forms.
Assessment Order: Adjusted the order of assessments for a more intuitive workflow.
Backend and Maintenance Updates
Improved compatibility with iOS 18.
What do I have to do?
If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically.
Otherwise, access the Apple App store, search for PainChek and select "Update" if available.
How do I know what version of PainChek I am using?
You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek":
