This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek for Android.

What's happening?

The PainChek Android version 4.31.2 will be released on Thursday 26th of September 2024.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvement

• Fixed an issue where a user’s profile would become corrupted if the username used had an upper-case character.

• Removed a minimum requirement or 8 characters in the username field.

New Features and Enhancements

• Set the following limits to field on the App so they match the server limits already in place:

  • First Name: 60 characters

  • Last Name: 60 characters

  • Nickname: 60 characters

  • Address1: 120 characters

  • Address2: 120 characters

  • Unit: 60 characters

  • Room: 60 characters

  • Bed: 60 characters

  • Ward: 500 characters

  • Face Comment: 1000 characters

  • Voice Comment: 1000 characters

  • Movement Comment: 1000 characters

  • Behaviour Comment: 1000 characters

  • Activity Comment: :1000 characters

  • Body Comment: 1000 characters

  • Body Location: 1000 characters

  • User First Name: 60 characters

  • User Last Name: 60 characters

  • User Phone Number: 15 characters

  • User Job Title: 100 characters

  • Resident Comment: 1000 characters

  • Relief Remarks: 1000 characters

What do I have to do?

If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically. You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek". Otherwise, access the Google Play Store, search for PainChek and select "Update" if available.
