PainChek Back-End 2.67.0 and Front-End 3.36.0 Release Notes Update - Wednesday 19th of March 2025
Who should read this?
This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Portal website.
What's happening?
The PainChek Portal version Backend 2.67 & Frontend 3.36 will be released on Wednesday 19th of January 2025.
What's changed?
Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
Email Formatting: Improved email formatting to handle Gmail and Yahoo email clients correctly.
502 Errors on Portal: Addressed intermittent 502 errors when switching pages on the portal.
Account Activation Issue: Fixed an error when trying to activate an already activated account.
Security Vulnerabilities: Fixed vulnerabilities in the portal, specifically related to dependencies.
New Features and Enhancements
Support for Infants: Updated email templates (Activation Code, Password Reset, Registration Success, and Reset Confirmation) to support PainChek Infants.
Self-Registration for Infants: Added support for a new user type when self-registering a license or user.
Ward Filters:
Added a filter to the backend patients list and to the portal patients list.
Introduced multi-pick component with state management for ward filters.
Filters are now displayed vertically for better navigation.
Backend and Maintenance Updates
API Updates:
Restricted integrations from creating residents with country codes that are not allowed in PainChek.
Security and Deployment Improvements:
Improved the ability to turn off request throttling at runtime.
Optimized scheduler queue queries for better performance.
Added robots.txt file to prevent indexing of PainChek Portal domains in search engines.
What do I have to do?
There's no action required. The update will occur on the server so when you log in after the update is applied, you will already be using the latest version.
In the unlikely event that the PainChek Portal gives an error after the upgrade, please clear the cache from your web browser. Please speak with your internal IT team if your web browser needs the cache cleared.
