PainChek Back-End 2.69.0 & Front-End 3.38.0 Release Notes Update - Monday 26th of May 2025

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Portal website.

What's happening?

The PainChek Portal version Backend 2.69 & Frontend 3.38 will be released on Monday 26th of May 2025.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

  • Addressed a high-severity vulnerability related to SQLite in our email service, scheduler, and webhook systems to ensure enhanced platform security and stability.
    Added Ward filtering to the Portal Analytics page.

  • Observability and performance improvements.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Added a license setting that limits the number of assessments sent to PainChek devices.

  • Added Ward filtering to the Portal Analytics page.

Backend & Maintenance Updates

  • Added time-outs on request (reporting, webhooks and email services).

What do I have to do?

There's no action required. The update will occur on the server so when you log in after the update is applied, you will already be using the latest version.

In the unlikely event that the PainChek Portal gives an error after the upgrade, please clear the cache from your web browser. Please speak with your internal IT team if your web browser needs the cache cleared.
